I am very blessed to have come from a large family and have all the love and support that they provide for me......
My momma.... A very precious little woman who gets all the credit for raising five hard headed girls. She was always there for me to pick up the pieces when life had broken my heart. My momma always encouraged me to follow my dreams and to never give up on anything I want in life. Even though we do not live in the same state I know I can call her anytime day or night to hear words of encourgement or to ease my worries!!
My Grandma Jones...... A very precious soul who has received her angel wings and is truly living the good life now in heaven. I will always remember how caring and loving she was towards me and always did little things with me such as buying me tons of chocolate milk just to see me smile. Even though I can't physically see her she will always hold a precious place in my heart!!
My Dad....My dad is a very hard working man and did everything he could to raise my sisters and I. He didn't always provide us with everything we wanted, but he made sure we had everything that we needed in life. He taught me that when I really want something in life that I have to work for it myself and to never put my dreams in another individuals hands. He is still a big part of my life and provides me with advice, whether I want it or not:)
My Four Sisters..... I grew up with four sisters, three older and one younger. I didnt realize how lucky I was to have them in my life when I was younger, all I could think about was that I had to share everything with them. Now that we are all grown I realize that they are the best gift my parents could have given me. I can call any of them and they will be here for me with the drop of a hat. They provide me with love, encouragment, advice, and they show me how blessed I am to have the family God has blessed me with. At the end of the day they are my best friends and will be there for me through thick and thin.
GOD IS GREAT AND I AM BLESSED!!!!!

ReplyDeleteIsn't it odd, how as children, we view or siblings as big pains, annoyances and sometimes even our worst enemies? Then, we grow up and realize what a true treasure they are and how they are some of the few people in life that have taken life's journey right beside us. You have a wonderful web. Thanks for your honest and open writing!
As I read your statements about your sisters, I had to laugh. Growing up I loved having all the siblings to a point. I always had a playmate but I never had privacy. Now that I've moved away from home, I understand how important they all are to me. I may not always agree with them but if you mess with them, you mess with me. Your web is beautiful and I'm glad you had these people growing up.
