I chose to subsribe to the Childs Defense Fund. This organization caught my attention because its focuses on providing funds for preschool programs in order to make sure that every child gets the opportunity to participate in a safe and healthy program. This is important to me because I live and work in a community that consists of a lot of low income families who are not able to provide for their children properly. A lot of the children live with their grandparents and their nutritional meal comes from what the schools provide each day. This is a sad situation and I hope to see this change in the future.

I too chose Children's Defense fund. I like how their website is packed with current trends and issues but at the same time, is not overwhelming. There is a lot of helpful information that can be found and utilized through their site!
